He did not say:
…it was unimportant
…it was meaningless
…it was irrelevant.
He said it was good.
God did not say:
It will be good
…once it has been modified, processed, developed
…once it has been exploited, consumed, destroyed
…once it has been value-added, sold and made profitable.
He said it was good.
God did not say:
It is good
…only for the rich
…only for the powerful
…only for those living in the 21st century.
He said it was good.
God did not say:
It is all there is
And humans can discover
Everything there is to know
Just by studying it.
He said it was good.
God did not say:
It is divine,
It is to be worshipped,
It replaces religion,
It replaces Church,
It is God.
But He did say it was good.
I really like this Liz, it mirrors what is in my heart on this topic.

ReplyDeleteI thought for a while before deciding to post this. Because it's not very good poetry and I didn't even set out to write a poem.
But in the end, I decided it was what I wanted to say in the way I wanted to say it. And that's a good enough reason for me to put it out there.

Yes, we can only agree to all taht has been said this far, to some even with their PhDs, it is just a figment of our imagination. MAY GOD CONTINUES TO BLESS YOU
